Academics

Fostering a sense of shared values and united purpose within diverse, global organizations is one of the biggest challenges leaders face today. The ability to lead with humanity — and gain buy-in in culturally sensitive, authentic, and meaningful ways — is more important than ever. Which is why, in the Poets&Quants Best MBA Programs for Entrepreneurship ranking, ASU's W. P. Carey School of Business was named No. 1 in the U.S. and No. 2 in the world, ahead of Michigan, Duke, and UCLA.

The W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University has transformed the MBA so you can transform business. Prepare to navigate uncertainty and build a better future through a Connected MBA that shapes students into leaders who do, build, and catalyze through the power of connection. By complementing your core curriculum with concentrations and other customization options, you can align your MBA with your goals and create your own path forward.

A STEM-designated degree, the Full-time MBA allows eligible graduates on student visas access to an Optional Practical Training (OPT) extension for up to 36 months, helping international students gain additional real-world skills and experience in the U.S.

Become a connected leader

Connected leaders have a holistic understanding of people, ideas, and context. W. P. Carey MBA students learn to tackle problems from multiple perspectives, listen to and collaborate with others, and proactively make space for great ideas to rise to the top.

This is one of the best programs in the country. I'm saying that not just because of the curriculum, the faculty, or the wonderful recruitment outcomes, but because it's a place of growth.

Chikezie Anachu,

Something I learned at W. P. Carey that changed my perspective was the importance of everyone bringing their authentic perspective to the table. Together we can ask better questions. We can learn from each other's experiences, and we can arrive at better questions that lead us to better answers.

Executive Connections offers one-on-one executive mentoring for the duration of the Full-time MBA degree — providing you critical engagement about leadership, and an unmatched perspective on your chosen industry and how to navigate challenges and milestones throughout your career.

When I joined the MBA program, I was at a stage in my career where I wanted to define the kind of leader I wanted to be. The Executive Connections experience and having an executive mentor helped me do some introspection and examine my journey to see how I could contribute more to society.
