Program details

Upskill with a full stack developer certification from AZNext and Cognizant Skills Accelerator. The comprehensive software development training program consists of 14 weeks of faculty-facilitated instruction and a final presentation. Your practical learning experience will include readings, exercises, labs, and various Integrated Development Environments (IDEs).

For your final presentation, you'll record a brief five-minute video to showcase your completed full stack web application and explain how you created it and how it works as the culminating exercise for the program.

Who is this program for?

The AZNext full stack developer certification program is targeted to career changers, upskillers, military, and underserved populations. We welcome anyone who meets our admissions requirements and has an extensive skillset in Java to apply. You'll submit an online application, resume, and LinkedIn profile to verify eligibility and baseline skills.

Participants in this pre-apprenticeship program must:

17 years of age or older
Have obtained an associate's or bachelor's degree
Be eligible to work in the U.S.
Be an Arizona resident

What will I learn?

The AZNext Cognizant Full Stack Developer Certificate upskills participants on essential software development tools, approaches, and processes. You'll explore a new technology or technique each week while engaging in hands-on exercises to reinforce theory. The certification program concludes with participants designing and building their own basic full stack program.

Create database-connected microservices in Java
Connect a web-based front-end to a microservices back-end

Participants in the full stack developer certification program have the opportunity to experience the Cognizant Speaker Series. Certification graduates are shortlisted for an interview to be a full-time paid apprenticeship with Cognizant.
